what to expect if you are new to massage
If it's your first massage or your 100th, communication is key to a great massage.
At your appointment time I will meet with you before you are on the table.
Why is this important?
First, we get to introduce ourselves and I can answer any questions you may have.
Second, a brief talk about any health history, injury, or illness may possibly change my approach to your session based on your uniqueness.
Third, it also provides an opportunity to offer any alternative techniques or services that may be more beneficial to achieving your massage goal.
cancellation policy
You may cancel your session for any reason and without charge if done 24 hours before appointment time.
Sessions that are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged for a full session on the card given at time the appointment was made.
Do i have to take all my clothes off?
You can undress to your comfort level.
Most people undress fully OR undress to undergarments.
You will be covered by a sheet and a blanket (if needed) before the massage begins and during the entire session. Only the area being massaged will be exposed and the rest of you will be covered.
checking in /out
- Arrive no more than 15 min prior to your
scheduled time.
- Massage session includes 5 min prep
(consultation and undressing) before
and 5 min wrap up (dressing), a total of 50 min
hands on time for massage.
- Late arrivals will have late time deducted
from their massage session. Example: appt
time 1:00pm, arrived at 1:10, hands on time

communication during the massage
Although your massage time is the perfect time to melt away and not participate in active conversation, there will be quiet questions asked through out to insure comfort.
My goal as a massage therapist is not to cause pain, in order to give the best therapeutic experience I will ask questions on comfort level and pain sensations.
You are welcomed and encouraged to let me know if the pressure is too light, too deep, or uncomfortable at any time during the massage.
